Warning  for visitors

     The entrance of the mine (1480 m.) can be reached in about 20 minutes with an uphill path crossing a larch wood. 

Here are some warnings to be observed:

·         The temperature underground is always 7°C; long trousers and winter clothes are strongly recommended.

·         As this is a real mine, warm clothes and sensible flat shoes are recommended.

·         During the underground tour bags and rucksacks must be left in the car or bus.

·         Videocameras are not admitted whereas cameras are allowed.

·         To take material from the mine is strictly forbidden

·         The age limit for children to go underground is five and above.

·          Those who endanger the other visitors will be debarred from visiting the mine.

Opening times and tickets

     Opening times are susceptible of seasonal change

 

On request guided visits for groups (20 persons at least) are available.

In the summer time and on Christmas holidays the daily number of visits can increase according to the demand.

*Cheap fare: children aged from 5 to 12  and over 60
